The Trance is the Giant platform for all mountain and enduro bikes.
In the trance family, you find 4 models
> 2 in alloy
> 2 carbon frames (Advanced)
> each develop 140mn of travel
> Both are 650B bikes

And SX ?? it is the way Giant chooses to indicate enduro bikes. Forks grow to 160mn and the equipment is more hard game oriented. So here is the unique version of the Trance SX alloy – no 1-2-3 with different levels of stuffs.

Yes, the Trance SX looks like a Giant – no doubt. There is one thing that we keep in mind: most of the time, a design that does not age hides something basically good ! The Trance SX embeds the last innovation from Giant – latest generation of Aluxx SL tubes and the Overdrive 2 that brings strength and precision to the head of the bike.

Suspensions uses Fox CTD fork (34 Talas) and rearshock – no kashima coat needed for the look on the plungers ^^

What will be a Giant mountainbike without a Maestro suspension system ? Quick answer : not a Giant !

here is a duplex of the suspension where you can appreciate how it works. Maestro enters the category of virtual pivot point suspension design – that eliminates the interaction of the suspension with the pedalling and breaking forces.

For the drivetrain, this Trance SX finds on Shimano catalog a Zee crank, SLX front derailleur and Deore shifter.
There is one thing that scores the bike as an enduro : the 1×10 system is a set up fully dedicated to competition, with 34 teeths front and a 11-36 cassette.

We find in-house components for the handlebar (725mn), stem and adjustable seatpost. We do not see here the brake levers but they are Shimano Deore (180/160). The cockpit offers a clear view – its soberness is much appreciated since the color of the frame does the job very well when the first sunbeam comes to it !
