After being moved by Jared Graves during the first day, Clementz the hunter confirms his domination winning the first stage of the season in Chile.
Over the course of six special stages of racing Jerome would steadily work his way ahead of the heavily stacked field of elite racers. The first three stages had a total of 1560-meters of descending with over nine kilometers of total timed racing. Stages one and three were sub-4-minutes runs for the fastest riders while stage two was the long and challenging one of the day at around eleven minutes for the majority of the Pro Men.
Stages four and five saw the fastest riders at just over five minutes and the final stage with the fastest time at eight minutes. Although trailing in the opening stages the returning Champion Jerome Clementz would eventually work his way back to the top step moving ahead of the competition to take the win
