Kona just launches a new mini website dedicated to its products line of all mountain bikes.
It is a kind of response to the Overmountain line created by Cannondale.
The pitch :
In the waning sun of last summer, the Kona Productions Crew ventured deep into the mountains surrounding Revelstoke, British Columbia to do what we all love to do so much, ride mountain bikes where they belong…mountains. With riders Spencer Paxson, Joe Schwartz and Sarah Butsch, along with photographer John Gibson and Kona’s production partners, Sherpas Cinema, we set out to capture the essence of Kona’s collection of 2013 All Mountain bikes. On perfect singletrack, through beautiful alpine wilderness and lush forests, watch as we put the new Process DL, Abra Cadabra and Satori to the test
One global film introduces the site, and one film dedicated to each bike online :
> To enlightenment for the Kona Satori (29 inches).
> To the mountains with the Kona Abra Cadabra
> To the wilderness with the Kona Process DL
Claim of thoses videos is mainly to display beautiful images, more than specs and details for each bike. Nevertheless, you can guess the profile of each bike listenning to the music… rythm is different between a smooth trail to a shreddy track !
As some bonus on the mini-site, you can download lastest ads for the bike.. we select here the Process DL as it’s one of the brand new platform of the canadian brand for 2013. A bike ready to do all that you want… versatility and reliability are its keywords.. what else ?
